摘要: The apparent dichotomy between qualitative versus quantitative dimensions in science intersects with the domain of several disciplines, as well different research fields within one and same discipline. perception “poor quantitative,” however, is methodologically unsustainable, because there are perfectly rigorous ways to conduct research. A somehow question whether a qualities per se possible: that is, appearances can be devised, what its observables are, methodological implications. article deals this last issue, especially from point view experimental phenomenology. weakness current approach discussed, an alternative goes beyond veridicalism presented. analysis tackles crucial issues such color spatial appearances, dimension perceived depth, role visual meaningful gestalten information tools for survival living beings environment. If developed, may contribute revising ecological theory by making natural semantics more explicit.
