摘要: This chapter deals with the phenomenological and energetic aspects of molecular-filtration processes.1 Advances in polymer chemistry have made it possible to prepare membranes which separate not only macromolecules other colloids from solvents (ultrafiltration), but even molecular particles comparable size (hyperfiltration; also called reverse osmosis). Large-scale hyperfiltration sea water is possible, although partial molal volumes salts are same order magnitude. Because importance desalination its widespread use, example chosen this pressure-induced salt-water separation.
