摘要: Proteomics, especially quantitative proteomics, has been emerging as a powerful tool in pancreatic cancer research, providing unique avenue to investigate malignancy-associated molecular alterations at functional level. Proteomics studies have carried out variety of specimens, including tissue, blood, juice, and cyst fluid well isolated cells, from individuals with other benign diseases. The specific aims these range understanding the mechanism tumorigenesis biomarker discovery for improved diagnosis therapy. A wealth information describing proteome associated related diseases become available, offering new insights on pathways mechanisms underlying cancer. Moreover, advances proteomics technology, mass spectrometry, separation technologies, sophisticated bioinformatics tools provide novel approaches therapeutic target detection.
