摘要: Abstract Hydrogenation of nitrobenzene has been carried out over Pt and Pt-Sn catalysts at 273 K using ethanol as solvent. In the first stage reaction intermediate phenylhydroxylamine is formed, together with aniline. After almost all converted, hydrogenated further to Selectivity scarcely influenced by level conversion Pt/Sn ratio. Upon addition tin, catalytic activity increases low tin content, then decreases higher Sn/Pt ratios. It suggested that concentration ions act promoters activating oxygen-containing group. At platinum poisoned availability activated hydrogen becomes rate-determining.
