摘要: Aluminum and boron kerosene slurries were successfully burned in a dump combustor. The apparatus built is described, with emphasis on the slurry fuel supply system measuring equipment. results are presented as combustion efficiency versus fuel-air ratio for kerosene, aluminum slurry. data which was used running facility comparison, show high (80÷100%). tested below stoichiometric (0.225) showed an average of 80% range 0.05 to 0.18. Boron reached this level ratios 0.12 (the 0.091). For lower drops, since ignition temperature not reached. There upper limit amount metal that it advantageous include slurries. droplet size appears be important parameter should small.
