摘要: Phosphorus (P)-deficiency symptoms are known for Lupinus species grown in calcareous soil, but we do not know if this is due to a high calcium (Ca) availability or low P the soil. To address problem, explored both effects of Ca and its interactions with on nutrient status growth three species. Two Ca-sensitive genotypes (L. angustifolius L. P26723 cosentinii Guss. P27225) two Ca-tolerant cv Mandelup pilosus Murr. P27440) were hydroponically at (0.1 10 μM) (0.1, 0.6 6 mM) levels. Leaf biomass recorded, whole leaf root concentrations analysed, cellular determined. Phosphorus-deficiency only observed genotypes. Among all study, showed an ability maintain stable whereas did concentration, maintained cytosolic Ca2+ concentration through effective compartmentation. However, genotypes, cosentinii, exhibit effectively compartmentalise Ca. Therefore, having capacity compartmentalising leaves likely critical be tolerant.
