摘要: Aim. The aim of this study was to compare the histological stage fibrosis determined by liver biopsy with assessed Fibroscan, analyze correspondences and inconsistencies between obtained values discuss role microscopic exam, from pathologist point view. Material methods. group consisted 185 patients diagnosed chronic hepatitis. Serological tests hepatitis C in 183 patients, B for 2 patients. were evaluated determine using two methods: elastography (Fibroscan). Results. Based on pathologic evaluation, 124 cases as moderate (score 6 – 8), remaining 60 severe 9 12). Comparison data examination that Fibroscan revealed overlapping divergent aspects. established through did not always coincide one assigned stiffness measurement, particularly intermediate stages F2 F3. best overlap noted F0–F1 F4 stages, which indicates evident ability transient separate minimal or no extensive fibrosis. Conclusions. Our concurs literature, confirms presence differences biopsy. From view pathologist, still remains a valuable instrument, offering relevant image changes it is regarded more rather selective than routine technique.
