摘要: The building sector is responsible for extensive resource consumption and waste generation, resulting in high pressure on the environment. A way to potentially mitigate this by including environmental considerations during design through concept known as eco-design. Despite multiple available approaches of eco-design, latter not easily achieved sector. objective paper identify discuss what barriers are currently hindering implementation eco-design which measures designers can include their process. Through a systematic literature review, several were identified, main ones being lack suitable legislation, knowledge amongst designers, tools use. Furthermore, two specific identified that allow inclusion consideration design, along with nine strategies providing qualitative guidance how minimize energy material consumption, well generation. This contributes holistic overview major existing method buildings, provides both future research practice.
