摘要: We examine some current ideas concerning the differences between covalent random networks with high and low average coordination. These can be made rigorous by considering number of continuous deformations (i.e. zero frequency modes) allowed within network. In transition from one kind network to another, rigidity percolates through system. This leads a picture in which coordination (polymeric glasses) have large floppy or spongy regions few rigid inclusions. On other hand (amorphous solids) percolated form solid
