摘要: Adaptive immunity is essentially required to control acute infection with enteropathogenic Yersinia pseudotuberculosis (Yptb). We have recently demonstrated that Yptb can directly modulate naive CD4+ T cell differentiation. However, whether fully differentiated forkhead box protein P3 (Foxp3+) regulatory cells (Tregs), fundamental key players maintain immune homeostasis, are targeted by remains elusive. Here, we demonstrate within the compartment preferentially targets Tregs and injects outer proteins (Yops) in a process depends on type III secretion system invasins. Remarkably, Yop-translocation into ex vivo isolated Foxp3+ resulted substantial downregulation of Foxp3 expression decreased capacity express immunosuppressive cytokine interleukin-10 (IL-10). Together, these findings highlight invasins critically mediate attachment Tregs, which allows efficient finally enables modulation Tregs' suppressive phenotype.
