摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the array of fluorescent proteins that are currently available and how they have been employed for investigating fungal-cell biology phytopathology. It discusses fluorescence-based imaging techniques such as confocal microscopy, multiphoton spectral imaging. The applications more sophisticated protein-based technologies focuses on what these will bring to disciplines. Though many approaches not used with filamentous fungi, exploitation full repertoire will, eventually, advance science all more. potential growth in use fungi is reflected increase number citations literature over past few years. Fluorescent being a variety fungal research areas from basic-cell biotechnology ecological studies plant symbionts soil-inhabiting fungi.
