摘要: A system and method for deghosting mosaics provides a novel multiperspective plane sweep approach generating an image mosaic from sequence of still images, video scanned photographic computer generated etc. This uses virtual camera positions to compute depth maps columns overlapping pixels in adjacent images. Object distortions ghosting caused by parallax when the are then minimized blending pixel colors, or grey values, each computed create common composite area Further, described herein is both computationally efficient, applicable case limited overlap between images used creating mosaics, extensive increased overlap.
