摘要: Methods and reagents are provided for the rapid extraction of nucleic acids from a cell or tissue sample. In certain embodiments sample comprises formalin fixed paraffin embedded (e.g., FFPET sample), fine needle aspirate and/or cell/tissue smear. some embodiments, methods comprise incubating one more sections said in lysis solution comprising buffer sufficient to maintain pH at ranging about 4 9; chaotropic agent; chelating detergent; where is temperature 50° C. 100° C.; recovering acid solution.
