摘要: Kinship theory is argued to be an important aspect of social dynamics in past societies. However, archaeological critiques kinship have suggested that descent and residence models are ideological constructs not associated with socioeconomic behavior, anthropologists believe normative rules rarely practiced, the biased by Western assumptions biological relatedness. These ignore several decades research. A review demonstrates sophisticated holistic approaches behavior ideology based on assumptions, historic ongoing disruptions political economic transformations significantly altered behavior. Furthermore, empirical data demonstrate adherence prior transformations. The fact changes source confusion leading literature but also present opportunity for archaeologists explain deep past.
