摘要: Heterosexual gonad development in a sparid species, Lithognathus mormyrus, was studied by histological and cytological examination, during the first three years of life. Gonad bisexuality is achieved after two months development, according to dynamics known sparids. In one-year-old fishes, variability morphology juvenile shown: different types ovotestis have been identified within same cohort: ovotestes with testicular prevalence (25%), ovarian equivalence (20%), (55%). This morphological juvenille consistent analysis sexual structure adult stock at maturity, which constituted 55.5% functional males (stemming from ovotestis) 44.5% primary females (from third type). The plasticity expression sparids emphasized, revealing potentialities ovotestis.
