Oxidative enzymes possess catalytic activity in systems with ionic liquids

摘要: Oxidative enzymes, laccase C from Trametes sp. and horseradish soybean peroxidases, catalyzed oxidation reactions in systems with ionic liquids whose content varied several volume percent to almost total non-aqueous liquids. Similar the effects produced by standard organic solvents used enzymology, catalytic activity of enzymes was decreased adding a water-miscible liquid, 4-methyl-N-butylpyridinium tetrafluoroborate, or suspending enzyme water-immiscible 1-butyl-3-methylimdizaolium hexafluorophosphate. For anthracene, assisted number mediators, addition instead tert-butanol, increased yield product several-fold.
