摘要: The magnetic behavior of the nickel cubane complex [Ni 4 (Ome) -(sal) (MeOH) ](Hsal=salicylaldehyde) was studied by using a Hartshorn bridge equipped with 3 He/ He dilution refrigerator. This has long been known to have well-isolated high-spin ground state S =4 and it suggested an easy-axis type anisotropy. AC susceptibility data clearly show slow magnetization reversal below 0.3 K, characteristic single-molecule magnets. Arrhenius plot relaxation rate provides activation energy about 5 K.
