摘要: The recognition of DNA sequences by drags opens up the possibility regulating gene expression at level genes. Natural systems employ large polypeptides to identify sequences. In last 10 years smaller molecules endowed with sequence specificity have been discovered. Among them are PNA Nielsen (1, 2) and cyclic polyamides Dervan (3). As title indicates, we shall devote this review applications cellular a particular class compounds, triple-helix forming purine oligonucleotides. We will not discuss “clamp” approach, where triplex oligonucleotides (TFOs) used inhibit synthesis (4, 5).
