摘要: This paper, the first of two, develops a real-time flood forecasting model using Burg's maximum-entropy spectral analysis (MESA). Fundamental to MESA is extension autocovariance and cross-covariance matrices describing correlations within between rainfall runoff series. These are used derive equations (with without feedback). The may be potentially applicable any pair correlated hydrologic processes.
