摘要: Abstract The use of cold-formed thin-walled steel structures has increased in recent years, and some built-up section members are motivated also widely used for their excellent structural behaviors. In this paper, a series axially-compressed tests on box composed two C-section by self-drilling screws at flanges conducted. differences global, local distortional buckling behaviors between with single sections investigated first. Then the effects installation error fastener spacing ultimate load-carrying capacity analyzed. A strength estimation method under axial compression is proposed based experimental investigation as well existing experiments, corresponding numerical analysis studies. Finally, predicted obtained using compared results nominal determined according to AISI provisions, which suitability accuracy have been established.
