摘要: Abstract Purpose To examine the feasibility and efficacy of a theory-driven family-based program delivered online to promote healthy lifestyles weights in Chinese American adolescents. Methods A randomized controlled study Web-based intervention was developed conducted 54 adolescents (ages, 12–15 years) their families. Data on anthropometry, blood pressure, dietary intake, physical activity, knowledge self-efficacy regarding activity nutrition were collected at baseline 2, 6, 8 months after assessment. analyzed using linear mixed modeling. Results The resulted significant decreases waist-to-hip ratio diastolic pressure increases vegetable fruit level about nutrition. Conclusion This behavior for families seems feasible effective short-term. Long-term effects remain be determined. type can adapted other minority ethnic groups who are high-risk overweight obesity have limited access programs that lifestyles.
