摘要: Plant leaf area affects both plant growth and yield. Although the effects of phosphorus water availability on development have been studied as isolated factors, little work has done their possible interactions. A pot experiment was conducted to investigate P early appearance expansion in soft red winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), determine whether effect deficit changes at each level nutrition soil content uptake. The a Lonewood loam (fine-loamy, siliceous, mesic Typic Hapludult), which had an available 8.2 mg kg -1 (Mehlich III). Additional applied 0, 10 20 soil. Water treatments consisted keeping soil-water 80% (well watered) 53% (stressed) kPa content. development, expansion, stomatal resistance were measured during experiment. At harvest (38 d after emergence), area, aboveground biomass, concentration measured. Phosphorus exhibited significant interaction tiller appearance, reduced by stress but only 0 P. As individual influenced different features. Lack decreased rate and, therefore, final number leaves per plant. defidt P, simultaneously expanding leaves, leaves. uptake increased with added not stress. ability plants cope mild enhanced adequate nutrition.
