摘要: Abstract This study fits in the general framework of developing methods for measurement number size distribution airborne submicrometer particles suited field measurements. An approach based on combination a Particle Size Selector (PSS) and portable Condensation Counter (CPC) is proposed this work. The methodology relies successive concentration under 6 operational configurations (n = 0, 1, 2, 6, 12 18 diffusion screens). A first part work consisted determining particle penetration through different sets grids, both experimentally theoretically. On that basis, specific data processing was developed, assuming aerosol follows monomodal lognormal law. In second study, combined PSS-CPC applied to series test aerosols produced laboratory, covering range modal diameters from 9 270 nm. Compared reference SMPS data, output distributions calculated were found be within ± 11% terms diameter, which considered satisfactory.
