摘要: Stripping gas is generally used to improve hydrogen yields in fermentations. Since CO2 relatively easy separate from it could be an interesting stripping gas. However, a higher partial pressure accompanied with increased uptake the liquid, where hydrolyses and induces requirement of NaOH maintain pH. This enhances osmotic culture by 30%, which inhibited growth Caldicellulosiruptor saccharolyticus. indications for this conclusion are: i) inhibition almost completely circumvented reducing bicarbonate through decreasing pH (from 6.5 5.5), ii) Growth rates were reduced 60 +/- 10% at 0.218 0.005 osm/kg H2O independently gas, iii) Increased extracellular DNA protein concentrations observed as function pressure. In addition inhibition, sodium effluent will contribute negative environmental impact when applied industrial scale. (C) 2009 International Association Hydrogen Energy. Published Elsevier Ltd.
