摘要: Abstract This work reports the synthesis and characterization of mesoporous NiO/ZrO 2 - CeO composites. These materials are still being developed due to their excellent morphological structural properties, especially for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) anodes. A soft chemical route using a polymeric template was utilized synthesize samples. The structure after two different calcination processes at 400 °C 540 °C studied by X-ray diffraction Rietveld refinement, before NiO loading. Nitrogen adsorption, scanning/transmission electron microscopy small angle scattering revealed nanocrystalline bi-phasic porous material. Temperature programmed reduction experiments showed higher Ni Ce values samples calcined 540 °C, respectively. Methane conversion in temperature range were similar both temperatures, showing 50% CH 4 around 550 °C 80% 650 °C. However, sample exhibited better textural properties leading an enhancement reducibility that might be responsible improvement oxygen surface exchange gasification carbon species catalytic experiments.
