摘要: A new disease of rose was noticed in Chiba Prefecture Japan 1968, and the pathogen initially identified as Phytophthora megasperma based on morphological characteristics. Similar isolates have since been collected from plants Chiba, Kanagawa, Shizuoka Prefectures. In 2005, several were recovered crowns strawberry Hokkaido Prefecture. These considered to be members a species. this study, we re-examined all these using physiological studies multilocus phylogenetic analysis. The mostly similar morphologically physiologically, with some exceptions. differed significantly P. sensu stricto other related had external proliferation sporangia, characteristic funnel-shaped oogonia, predominantly paragynous antheridia, fast growth rates 10.5 mm/24 h at an optimum temperature 28 °C. tree constructed sequences rDNA ITS regions, LSU, translation elongation factor 1-α, β-tubulin coxI genes, they formed distinct monophyletic group clade 7 strong bootstrap support. separated into two groups. results indicate that constitute separate species, designated here Phytophthoranagaii fragariaefolia.
