摘要: This paper reviews endeavors over the past decades to achieve seamless monitoring of various types physiological information by a variety high user-af nity approaches applicable daily life environment. Developments in academic research and commercialization from early period are reviewed. The latest outcomes brie y investigated roughly categorized into three main models: miniature portable monitors for ambulatory application, functional fabric-based wearable better comfort, unobtrusively deployed invisible optimum usability. Monitors environment differ conventional devices that hospital-centered aimed at short-term use clinics. Through scrutinizing current systems examining their pros cons, we identify existing common concerns, provide insight problem determinants, suggest topics further study. In near future, envision home will be transformed an intelligent hub lifelong healthcare through human body environment, which foster development new discipline “Metrology Health” or “Healthology” based on holistic view health.
