摘要: Theoretical neuroscience provides a quantitative basis for describing what nervous systems do, determining how they function, and uncovering the general principles by which operate. This text introduces basic mathematical computational methods of theoretical presents applications in variety areas including vision, sensory-motor integration, development, learning, memory. The book is divided into three parts. Part I discusses relationship between sensory stimuli neural responses, focusing on representation information spiking activity neurons. II modeling neurons circuits cellular synaptic biophysics. III analyzes role plasticity development learning. An appendix covers used, exercises are available book's Web site.
