摘要: Research suggests that the personality factor hardiness may aid in resilience to combat PTSD. The need understand resiliency factors like becomes more urgent as depth of epidemic PTSD among veterans evident. Hardiness consists three dimensions: (a) commitment, (b) control, and (c) challenge. This study was designed explore relationship between dimensions Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) Iraqi (OIF) veterans. Participants were contacted through college offices across nation, measures anonymously completed online. Veterans who participated asked complete demographics, hardiness, PTSD, exposure. Correlations suggest commitment is a better predictor than challenge or control hardiness. A significant correlation lesser magnitude also found for nonsignificant. consistent relevant studies. Further research needed clarify reliability learn whether interventions increase result lower levels
