摘要: Abstract This paper studies the hydraulic performance of two swales composed filters for stormwater management (filtering swales) in a large-scale experimental study and compares them to swale traditional bioretention soil (bioswale). Using data, dimensionless formulations are derived reflect influence design parameters on performance. The developed formulas can be used accounting practical factors decision makers such as local rainfall patterns, volume capture requirements, drainage area. data show that while bioswale is characterized by large overland flows, tested filtering manage, majority cases, complete inflow without flow. longitudinal slope does not affect infiltration capacity boundary conditions, only rate media water content found statistically significant. As an example, this captured 90% runoff generated 12.2 mm/h storm (approximately 5-year return period 1-h duration event city Trondheim) road 40 times larger than swale. highlights handling infrequent events.
