摘要: Feather analysis has been widely used as a biomonitoring tool to assess metal contamination in birds, their sampling is non-destructive and ethically preferable technique. However, for feathers be useful biomonitor of heavy metals, exogenous efficiently removed. Although much effort put into this, no washing procedure yet proven able ensure the total removal surface-associated metals. The purpose this study was propose an efficient feather samples prior analysis, on basis comparison various schemes designed according previous analytical trials, verification efficacy optimal scheme cleaning intentionally contaminated feathers. Our investigation showed that dilute nitric acid alone or combination with detergent (Extran) acetone under mild agitation performed better any other applied. Thus, multi-step including sequential use all three reagents tested against by adsorbed particulate species. completely eliminate external loads cases except partial severe Cd.
