摘要: The therapeutic effect of the synthetic serine protease inhibitor, FUT-175, on cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) was investigated. Twenty-three patients with severe SAH who were admitted between February and July 1990 underwent surgery within 48 hours initial aneurysmal rupture treated an intravenous administration FUT-175 soon operation. divided randomly into three groups, each receiving a different dose (Group A, 20 mg every 12 for 4 days; Group B, 6 days, C, 40 days). results compared another group twenty-two before received equivalent treatment, except they not FUT-175. In 64% all (Groups C), in 85% those higher doses B there no spasm or only mild angiogram. incidence delayed ischemic neurological deficit significantly decreased from 55% control to 13% 7% (P less than 0.05). infarction resulting 43% 9% none developed infarction.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
