摘要: ABSTRACT Objective: To study the attitudes of Iranian medical students towards do-not-resuscitate (DNR) decision. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 220 (110 interns and 110 residents) Tehran University sciences were selected. They asked to answer questionnaire which included two items: first item consisted demographic questions (age, sex, level education); second about DNR Orders derived from a previous conducted by Hosaka et al. Results: A total 185 questionnaires returned (Response rate (RR=84%)). Ninety five residents ninety interns. Seventy four percent 53% felt that order is sporadically necessary. Near 30% 40% had participated in DNRs their period most case was patient with terminal cancer. The common person who decided orders physicians. Most participants believed cards are useful for establishing clinical settings. Conclusion: As definitely decision, it should be clearly discussed patients families. So, provided standard format situations.
