Effect of oblique angle deposition of α-naphthylphenylbiphenyl diamine on the performance of organic light-emitting diodes

摘要: We report the effect of oblique angle deposition α-naphthylphenylbiphenyl diamine (α-NPD) on performance organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) based tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminium (Alq3). OLEDs were fabricated by depositing α-NPD using both conventional and angles incidence α = 85° from substrate normal. Due to tilted granular nano-structures observed. It was found that structure enhances external coupling efficiency device. Significant enhancement in luminance observed case α-NPD.
