摘要: The erosive oral lichen planus (OLP) represents a management challenge to the clinician and can have debilitating consequences patients' quality of life. aims this work were determine incidence malignant transformation squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in patients undergoing traditional symptomatic treatments (oral salve containing lidocaine hydrochloride or systemic diclofenac) compared that managed with defocused continuous CO2 laser beam. A total 171 histologically confirmed OLP included into study. After treatment, assessed until completion wound healing, at least every 3-6 months for first 2 years, 6-12 thereafter. study 87 women (50.9%) 84 men (49.1%). 103 (60.2%) underwent conservative 68 (39.8%) treatments. SCC developed 16 (9.4%), (2.9%) after treatment 14 (13.6%) only. This provides insight potential impact influence on recurrence rate OLP, as well SCC.
