摘要: Biomarkers play an important role in the field of medicine. Over past decade, a significant amount data has been generated by high-throughput analysis, such as microarray technologies or proteomics, yet discovery rate biomarkers remains low. This lack progress is primarily due to poor understanding biological processes causing diseases. There growing consensus that holistic network-based approach characterizing diseases could aid development novel therapeutics. chapter describes recent integrative network analysis for biomarker and pitfalls associated with methods used analysis.
