摘要: Enormous progress in the design of portable electronic devices allowed them to reach a utility level comparable desktop computers, while still retaining their mobility advantage. At same time new multimedia services and applications are available for IP users. Unfortunately, performance base protocol is not satisfactory mobile environments, due lack handover support higher layer management mechanisms. In this paper, we outline most important current methods handling networks that expected play an role future (covering following ISO---OSI layers: 2+, 3, 3+, 4 7 solutions), as well describe newly proposed methods.
