摘要: Robust models which allow flood estimation for basins with short records have been investigated. For this purpose a river basin in Turkey an area of 36000 km2 is chosen, has 11 gaging stations 18–47 years long. It shown that the two regions arc homogeneous within themselves but significantly different from each other. Various probability distribution functions were fitted to observed data region. In order test robustness models, series generated at station assumed populations. Regional curves are obtained using and compared regional curve population regard bias variability return periods. found performance few parameters best. methods much better than average performances sites, application analysis by dividing into subregions reduces estimates.
