摘要: The history of computer modelling the Wairakei geothermal field is reviewed. It covers development lumped-parameter models during 1970s and then discusses evolution first applications reservoir simulation techniques. at University Auckland began in early 1980s; current produces good matches against data. Many future scenarios have been run using University's presented various regulatory hearings. general conclusion from these that can continue producing electricity level for least another 50 years, if shut down after 100 years operation it will recover to its pre-exploitation state a further 300 years.
