摘要: The purpose of this work was to study the production energy in an area sensu stricto cerrado located on Agua Limpa Farm, University Brasilia - Brazil. Aerial biomass and characteristics wood bark species found total 63.56 ha were determined. In ten 20 m x 50 plots, height diameter, all trees whose diameters either equal or greater than 5 cm, at 30 cm from ground, measured. Seven diameter classes pre-determined. Vochysia thyrsoidea presented  a great (1,643 MJ/tree, trees/ha e 32,859.00 MJ/ha) due production, but with low (0.49 ) (19,728 kJ/kg). Acosmium dasycarpum showing good (heat – 20,883 kJ/kg, 0,74 did not outstand their (318.26 1 tree/ha 318.26 MJ/ha)  because low. Nonetheless, there presented high production: Sclerolobium paniculatum (1,279 MJ/trees, 46 trees/ha, 58,834 MJ/ha, 0,72 20,298 kJ/kg), Dalbergia miscolobium (336 84 28,224 0,77 20,495 kJ/kg) Pterodon pubescens (1,983 14 27,760 0,73 20,733
