摘要: The ability of addictive drugs to induce adaptations in mesolimbic dopamine (DA) activity offers an attractive neurobiological explanation for enhanced incentive motivation toward drug-associated stimuli addiction. However, direct evidence supporting this is sparse. By tracking neurochemical within the mouse nucleus accumbens via microdialysis during repeated pairing morphine with environmental stimuli, we reveal a predictive relationship between DA responses and subsequent preference towards morphine-paired stimulus. A similar serotonin (5-HT) was observed, suggesting that these neuromodulatory systems work concert. During expression stimulus, extracellular not but negatively associated behavior on subject-by-subject basis. In contrast, avoidance aversively-paired stimulus (the opiate antagonist naloxone) levels, also balance 5-HT responses. These findings tangible drug-induced neural conditioned behavior, emphasize generalized all subcomponents by drugs. They further provide active role DA-5-HT interactions learned behavior.
