Existing task scheduling allocation mechanisms focus on reducing upstream by maximizing data among However, downstream due to plays a crucial role large-scale WSNs required be addressed. This paper proposes query index based preprocessing mechanism that prevents generation creating common corresponding overlapping functional requirements reduces as well significantly. performance evaluation reveals approximately 60% reduction traffic, 20–40% 40% consumption when compared with state-of-the-art mechanisms.
