摘要: Injection of lymphoid cells expressing minor lymphocyte-stimulating antigen-1 (Mls-1a) induces tolerance to the superantigen, and partial deletion Mls-1a-reactive T cells. We have identified a transient population that lost alpha/beta cell receptor at time when start disappear during process induction. Apoptosis was directly demonstrated in this TCR-alpha/beta negative T-cell population. This indicates peripheral pathway, characterized by TCR down-regulation, apoptosis, clonal deletion. The consequence Mls-1a-induced down-regulation appears be different CD4+ CD8+ Although most alpha- beta-chains appear undergoing many their counterparts may able re-express Ag receptor. argues for involvement coreceptors induction apoptosis
