摘要: The effect of bending strain on the transport properties Nb3Sn strands has been object several investigations in last years. We report performances internal tin with different filament twist pitches, pre-compressed by swaging into thin stainless steel tubes before reaction heat treatment and subject to pure strain. have previously reported comparison between technological OST-Dipole strand (TW-strand) those same strand, but untwisted superconducting filaments (UNTW-strand). critical current, as well n-index samples twisted gradually degraded applied strain, while an enhancement observed UNTW-strands. Here, results further experimental measurements carried out OKSC pitches are discussed, order clarify some aspects current transfer process within strands. Finally, we analysis through second derivative V-I curve, which evidenced a peaked distribution for UNTW-strands, TW-strands under showed higher degree non-homogeneity, proven broader distributions.
