摘要: In the competitive world of 21 century, companies must improve way they develop products. Although concurrent engineering / integrated product development (CE/IPD) concepts are not new and revolutionary, achieving CE in specific situations is still a difficult task fact full concurrency may be feasible, therefore strategy on has moved to collaborative (CPD). This paper provides comprehensive review recent R&D CPD. The literature reviewed from number aspects: system architectures, modeling visualization, process coordination, communication collaboration, implementation methodologies. Some challenges opportunities identified discussed. A particular focus CPD solutions for Small middle sized enterprises (SMEs).
