摘要: A description is given of the algorithms implemented in AstroBEAR adaptive mesh-refinement code for ideal magnetohydrodynamics. The provides several high-resolution shock-capturing schemes which are constructed to maintain conserved quantities flow a finite-volume sense. Divergence-free magnetic field topologies maintained machine precision by collating components on cell-interface staggered grid and utilizing constrained transport approach integrating induction equations. maintenance grids achieved using prolongation restriction operators preserve divergence curl across collocated different resolutions. robustness correctness demonstrated comparing numerical solution various tests with analytical solutions or previously published obtained other codes.
