摘要: The de facto quality-of-service provisioning mechanism for wireless LANs is the Enhanced Distributed Channel Access (EDCA), which provides enhanced service differentiation based on four different prioritized Categories (ACs). In this paper, we show that multiple category of EDCA causes a new type unfairness problem among ACs same priority class when numbers active in competing nodes are different. We present simple analytical model to capture impact virtual collision, external and Arbitration Interframe Space degree intra-class unfairness. Based its insight, remedy scheme resolving evaluate efficiency using ns-2 simulations.
