摘要: Abstract Two organic additives were selected for their different physico-chemical parameters to study the behaviour of a diesel–ethanol mixture. These compounds had glycerol skeleton bearing heteroatoms and amino-ether, hydroxyl, nitrate nitramine functional groups. Properties directly related engine (viscosity, cetane number, heat content, volatility) those characterising fuel quality (homogeneity, cold properties, anticorrosiveness investigated. Fuel formulations prepared with 2% additive ethanol contents between 10 20% in volume relation diesel fuel. Blends, or without additive, are compared two engines direct indirect injection. Engine seemed be improved presence reduction pollutant emissions exhaust gas, cyclic irregularities ignition delay. No trouble shooting, knocking vapor-lock phenomenon encountered during this study.
