摘要: Abstract Proton magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was used to observe disinfestation heat treatment-induced injury in the mesocarp of ripening mango cv. Kensington Pride. Injured areas were characterised by relatively low water levels (low signal intensity) corresponding air filled cavities and “islands” starchy mesocarp. Heat lesions started develop on day treatment (day 0) maximally evident fruit held at 22°C 4. Nondestructive proton MRI shown be a sensitive method for detecting monitoring progress fruit.
