The Soybean Looper: Pupal Weight, Development Time, and Consumption of Soybean Foliage

摘要: Pseudoplusia includens (Walker) reared singly on soybean leaflets at 29.4 @+ 1.5@*C consumed 81.96 cm of leaflet area. Approximately 97% the consumption occurred during last 3 stadia. Development time from eclosion to pupation was 13.74 days. Mean pupal weights for larvae in laboratory leaves or artificial diet were less than those field collected larvae.
